Taking Flight International Corporation offers two certification training programs, the Grief Support Certification Training  and the Trauma Recovery Certification Training.

 

Both the Grief Support Certification and the Trauma Recovery Certification training programs are developed by Dr. Jane A. Simington, PH.D., an internationally recognized grief and trauma specialist, author and speaker.

 

Dr. Jane Simington has an education and practice background in both Nursing and Psychology.  She has an extensive background working with people of both genders and from various cultures, assisting them in moving through life’s difficult experiences.  Dr. Simington offers education in grief and trauma locally,  nationally and internationally, at the community, college and university levels.  She has received numerous awards for her work  and named the teacher of the year.  She frequently facilitates educational seminars and workshops for both the public and private sectors on a variety of topics relating to her interest in grief and trauma, healing, spirituality and empowerment.
